Greystone Hall Wedding | Julia & Daniel

If you ever go to West Chester, you have got to check out the inside of the St Agnes Church; it is absolutely stunning inside! The architecture and light inside the church is crazy beautiful and sets the perfect stage for an epic wedding ceremony. Julia & Daniel were so cute at the altar, and couldn’t stop smiling at each other! The storm outside brought some booming thunder at key points of the ceremony, which really made everything feel a little more official :) The reception took place at one of our favorite wedding venues in West Chester: Greystone Hall, which has an outdoor tented patio that is absolutely perfect for any weather condition. Everyone loved all of the DIY details that Julia put together; how amazing is that signature table!? Things got pretty wild on the dance floor before we wrapped up the night with a quick twilight shot!

Bear Creek Wedding | Haley & Nathan

Haley & Nathan’s wedding was our first Bear Creek Mountain Resort wedding, and Lincoln and I absolutely loved it! Most people know Bear Creek as a busy winter ski resort, but during the summer time this venue really calms down and is an over-the-top luxurious resort and spa. It’s such a perfect venue for family and friends to escape reality for a few days and celebrate a wedding. Every direction you look is simply stunning, from the modern architecture, to the manicured landscaping, to the rolling mountains. The night before the wedding, Haley & Nathan’s friends all partied in a spectacular two-story suite, which is also where Haley got ready the next morning. We kicked off the wedding day with a first look in the stone-walled courtyard (with the bridesmaids watching from their balcony!), and then had some fun roaming the grounds before the ceremony. In spite of all the recent videos of bridal parties causing docks to collapse, we crossed our fingers as the ~20-person bridal party walked out on the lake’s dock (it looked pretty sturdy!). The dock held, and Lincoln once again narrowly avoided falling into the water to get the shot (worth it!). The light during the wedding ceremony was absolutely heavenly, and poked out from over the mountains and behind the clouds just in time for a breathtaking ceremony. It was perfect. The Bear Creek wedding reception ballroom was decked out from floor to ceiling with decorative touches that had all the guests buzzing, and the Uptown Band was undoubtedly one of the more impressive wedding bands we’ve seen to date. At the end of the night, every guest grabbed some premium-grade sparklers to create a magical exit for Haley & Nathan. What a night! Lincoln and I want to come back for another Bear Creek wedding as soon as possible!

Temple Engagement Session | Allisa & Rachele

Allissa & Rachele love to surprise each other with elaborate acts of romance. For example, a spontaneous trip to a snowy Vermont cheese farm, where a horse-drawn carriage led to a surprise proposal!! Yeah, it’s hard to top that. Well needless to say, we were quite excited for their sunrise engagement session at their alma mater: Temple. Engagement sessions are so much more meaningful when they involve a location that is special to you, because all the memories come flowing back and everything just falls into place. We had an awesome time getting to know each other, and can’t wait for their wedding next year!

John James Audubon Engagement Session | Megan & Ted

Engagement sessions are so crucial because they help a couple loosen up and get comfortable in front of our lenses. And sure enough, it did not take Megan and Ted long to get the hang of posing for us! We trekked along the grounds of the John James Audubon Center and were able to find a lot of little hidden spots there which made their session so special and unique. We are really looking forward to their wedding at the Crystal Tea Room next year!!

Fourth of July Wedding at the Barn on Bridge | Shannon & Steve

Shannon was SO excited for her wedding day. She put all the silly planning stress behind her and was absolutely glowing the entire day. She’s always loved the Fourth of July, so why not incorporate it as a wedding theme? Fourth of July Barn on Bridge wedding? GENIUS. We started to realize just how epic this theme would be when we heard Shannon had red white and blue painted nails at a caterer planning meeting. When the big day finally came, every last detail was ‘merica at its best: the girls’ getting ready outfits, the guy’s socks, patriotic flags everywhere (including a full size flag that the bridal party toted around), table decor, etc etc! Basically, it felt like the best summer day ever. Both Shannon and Steve’s families were so gracious to us, making us feel like part of the family.
