Please Touch Museum Wedding | Lauren & Lance

This is our second Please Touch Museum wedding, and we’re hoping it’s just a coincidence that both times the venue nearly CAUGHT ON FIRE. Yes, you read that right. The first incident happened earlier this year, but there were already several fire trucks on scene by the time we arrived, so certainly that cannot be our fault. But the second time we were undeniably involved as we egged on Lauren & Lance to light numerous Japanese lanterns (as you’ll see below), which quickly floated directly into the adjacent trees. So for our next wedding at the Please Touch Museum wedding we’ll probably just give the fire fighters a polite heads up :P

Lauren & Lance are Temple sweethearts (almost as cool as Penn State sweethearts like us). They brought us to revisit a few Philadelphia spots to relive some favorite moments of their relationship: starting with their Temple stomping grounds, Lance’s romantic Rittenhouse Square proposal, and with a climatic finale at their Please Touch Museum wedding reception! Enjoy :)

West Chester Wedding at Greystone Hall | Jennifer & Stephen

We couldn’t stop thinking of the Great Gatsby during Jennifer & Stephen’s elegant and quite classy wedding at Greystone Hall in West Chester. We found ourselves exploring some tucked away gems in downtown West Chester, including a charming antique shop that lead us to a super cool sunlit alleyway. We zipped off to Greystone Hall (and by that I mean the limo driver earned himself a speeding ticket) to keep the party going. Gold plates and very sophisticated shades of green + pink adorned the reception hall. After a few toasts (read: roasts), the dance floor was immediately packed, where I’d like to say Lincoln ‘taught me how to dougie,’ but I’m not so sure he knows how to dougie himself :P Jennifer and Stephen made us feel like family and we couldn’t be more delighted for their happier ever after!

Talamore Country Club Wedding | Jaclyn & Sean

Jaclyn and Sean’s Talamore Country Club wedding day was such a beautiful, fun day full of excitement. Jaclyn and her girls got ready at Normandy Farms and we discovered a little hidden spot to take some gorgeous group photos. The girls were a really fun group, so we decided to head to the bar and get a silly “shot”, literally! We hopped on a (legit) limo full of anticipation before the traditional Catholic ceremony, which was enhanced by the vocals of Jaclyn’s young students. They were so happy to be apart of Jaclyn’s big day and you could tell it meant a lot to her! After the ceremony we went to the Talamore Country Club wedding ballroom, which is honestly quite a jaw dropping space. We had some fun wandering the grounds and created some really lovely portraits. Jaclyn and Sean were introduced into the reception courtesy of the venue’s grand staircase , and they really made an entrance! The night was filled with dancing and fun, and by the end of the night we tried to convince Jaclyn and Sean to take us to Spain with them!

Vie Wedding in Philadelphia by Cescaphe | Jodi & Gordon

Where do I even start with Jodi and Gordon’s Vie wedding? They’re one of those perfect couples that probably make strangers jealous when they’re walking around town. They know exactly how to make each other happy and it shows. Lincoln and I came into the day ready to go and we were happy to see some familiar faces, as we took photos of baby Max and Mia, Jodi’s nephew and niece, a few months ago. The day kicked off at Le Meridien. If you have never been to this hotel, you are required to check it out on your next trip to Philadelphia! We found some gorgeous photo ops including the beautiful original brick wall in the 75-foot atrium – where we did Jodi and Gordon’s first look. It was such a touching moment and a very special way to begin the day. The ceremony and reception took place at the Vie wedding venue by Cescaphe. Over the years we’ve come to learn that the Cescaphe event group never ever disappoints, and Vie was looking stunning, of course, and the tables absolutely sparkled. We have worked with Cescaphe at many of their venues and let me tell you – they know what they are doing! It is ALWAYS a pleasure and they put on the most gorgeous, over-the-top events.  Jodi and Gordon’s wedding was no exception – everything was done perfectly. They had Masquerade, a 12-piece band/DJ/MC, and it was the icing on the cake (by the way – their cake definitely earned a spot in our hall of fame. We thought it was going to be from some New York boutique cake shop, but it turns out Cescaphe actually made it!). Masquerade was absolutely amazing and really got the crowd involved – the dance floor was packed the entire night! We highly recommend them and it really created such a great atmosphere for the reception. We ended the night with some sparkler fun before trekking home and passing out as soon as we hit the bed.

Aronimink Wedding | Nina & Rob

Nina and Rob were previous clients of ours who had a vow renewal and quite a glamorous Aronimink wedding reception to celebrate with their family and friends. We loved photographing them the first time and this time around was even more fun since we were with them the entire day and really got to know their families, including their lovely daughter, Karen Grace. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception at Aronimink to follow was an elegant affair to remember! The luxurious golf club was the perfect setting for the event and provided a beautiful backdrop for the evening’s events. I definitely have to give a shout out to Nina’s wedding planner, Judith Campbell from Campbell Studios, as I’m sure that Nina would agree the day went as smooth as can be – with tons of help from Judith! She was great and after working with her, we highly recommend her services. We wish Nina and Rob the very best and were so happy to be apart of their special day!
