Valley Forge National Park Engagement Session | Jennifer & John

Jennifer and John are both from West Chester but are currently living out of state, so when the forecast called for rain and our Valley Forge National Park engagement session could not be rescheduled – we were all a little worried! Jennifer even came prepared with rain boots in her trunk as back-up! Luckily, the weather was beautiful and besides me (Jaime) getting a few bug bites…like 20 – no photographers were harmed in the making of this session! Jennifer and John are such a fun couple. They were laughing and having fun the entire session – so it made it such a breeze for us! We are so excited for their wedding and their engagement session gave us a taste of what is to come! We’re really excited to join Jennifer and John at the Cork Factory in Lancaster next year!

Stockton Inn Wedding | Elizabeth & Tim

Elizabeth and Tim’s absolutely charming Stockton Inn wedding took place on a sunny summer day. Their first look was quite special on the porch of the Stockton Inn where Tim couldn’t stop smiling after first seeing his soon to be wife. They tied the knot in front of a storybook waterfall just behind the Stockton Inn. Elizabeth’s grey and yellow theme carried from the bridesmaid’s dresses to the beautiful paper lanterns decorating the reception’s dance floor area (remember brides: these are the thematic details that really personalize the wedding venue!). After the ceremony, a trolley took us to explore Prallsville Mill where we found a few special spots. The peak of summer is always a bit toasty, but we created some really nice shots in the gorgeous landscape of the Mill before returning to the Stockton Inn wedding reception. Everyone’s energy was high and carried on late into the night where the dance floor was constantly packed with happy people showing off some pretty impressive (and often wacky) dance moves. What a night!

A Newborn Summer

We had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wide-eyed Summer Paige for the first time recently! She was less than two weeks old and was such a sweet, happy baby! Summer was SO adorable and easy to photograph, we’re pretty sure she’s bound to be a supermodel. Lincoln and I will be seeing the family again soon at their friend Sheryl’s wedding at the Loews Hotel this October, can’t wait :)

Barn on Bridge Wedding | Valerie & Chris

Although it rained all day, it certainly did not put a damper on Chris and Val’s Barn on Bridge wedding. They were such good sports and we managed to find a lot of great photo ops under dry cover! The tented ceremony was gorgeous and one of the highlights was their dog, Riley, coming down the aisle as ring bearer! After the ceremony we had plenty of time to get fun, goofy photos (Val’s favorite) as well as some sweet shots of the happy couple. The reception was rustic and beautiful in the recently restored historic Barn on Bridge wedding venue in Montgomery county. We set up the photo booth on the 3rd floor of the barn and got such fun shots of all their guests! Val and Chris are so sweet and down-to-earth, it was so special to be apart of their big day!

Please Touch Museum Wedding | Sarah & Mike

It would be completely accurate to say that Sarah and Mike’s marriage began in a blaze of glory. That’s right – on the afternoon of their Please Touch Museum wedding, the venue was actually on fire. It is important legally, for us to note that “we didn’t start the fire…it was always burnin…”. I will say that Mike and Sarah were really fired up to get their ceremony underway…OK that’s enough fire references! Luckily, Sarah and Mike are such a fun, easy-going couple and they didn’t let the delay ruin their day at all (the fire was in the basement and was all cleaned up prior to the ceremony luckily). In fact, Sarah took full advantage and we got some great pictures with the fire trucks! Their ceremony was absolutely stunning, taking place in the entrance of Please Touch. Afterwards, we had a blast visiting all the different exhibits and getting lots of fun portraits. The reception was stunning and they went with a really cute candy theme for each of their tables. It was a good idea, because many guests were taking their table’s candy to other tables to make trades – it got everyone up and mingling! This was a wild group of Haverford grads and they definitely knew how to have a good time! Here are a few highlights from this adventurous day!
