Blair and Jon’s wedding day began at The Four Seasons in Philadelphia, where both the bride and her bridesmaids and the groom and his groomsmen got ready in separate suites. Right away, we could tell this was going to be a fun group! From there, we walked across Logan Square to the spectacular Franklin Institute wedding venue. We enjoyed exploring the wedding venue and photographing the group at various locations in and around the Franklin Institute. The wedding ceremony was beautifully unique and took place in the main entrance, which was a very convenient location for guests considering the museum’s massive size. Blair was literally breathtaking as she came down the aisle and the ceremony went off without a hitch! Franklin Institute weddings are so much fun because you can use any room in the museum, and the possibilities are endless! Afterwards, everyone went up to the Franklin Institute rooftop for a gorgeous view of Philadelphia and to attend the cocktail hour. Blair’s personal touches were everywhere, from the personalized monogram she created to the delicate purple and white blooms. The reception took place in the Benjamin Franklin Memorial Ballroom (aka Franklin Institute rotunda) and it was a jaw dropping sight to see! The room was lit up with hues of blue and purple and the atmosphere was grand and magnificent. This was definitely a show-stopper wedding and we couldn’t be happier for Blair and Jon. Congratulations! We have several upcoming weddings at the Franklin Institute, and simply cannot wait to go back. The staff is wonderfully efficient and cordially escorted guests between locations. If you want all your friends to be jealous, a Franklin Institute wedding makes it easy.
