Destination Wedding Photographers | Sandals Antigua

Chelsea and Matt are a pretty special couple to us – we first photographed their engagement session in Center City Philadelphia and we knew we were destined to be buds. This pair is incredibly laid back, goofy, and just plain fun to be around! They even brought their awesome labradoodle, Tanner, to the session – which we LOVED. As the big day approached we couldn’t help but be giddy with excitement…we were off to photograph Chelsea and Matt’s love story at one of the most romantic destination wedding in the world, Sandals Antigua! How awesome is that?! Let me start off by stating the obvious: destination weddings are the best – from the island vibe to the jaw dropping sunsets and pearly white beaches, Antigua is a photographer’s dream. While Lincoln photographed the boys donning Hugo Boss before the ceremony (aka rap music + Ice Age 4), I went off with Chelsea who was equally as playful all while looking truly stunning (not that Matt wasn’t looking stunning as well! haha). We had a great start to the day, angelic light and lovely subjects to photograph. The intimate ceremony took place in Sandal’s grand gazebo where Chelsea and Matt were surrounded by their best friends and beloved family members. After the ceremony we moved quickly around the shore and the resort to capture some breathtaking portraits of the couple. We were blessed with a heavenly sunset and couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out! The reception took place by the reflection pool and the guests really let their hair down! From the heartfelt speeches to the wild dance moves – this was one celebration that will not be forgotten! We had so much fun and even developed a few special inside jokes with Chelsea and Matt (you know which pose I am thinking of!!) that they feel like friends, not just clients. Many many congratulations to you guys – you make an AMAZING pair and we were so happy to be apart of your adventurous Sandals Antigua destination wedding!

West Chester Engagement Pictures | Sara & Shawn

Sara and Shawn are lucky enough to live right in the heart of downtown West Chester and they knew it would be the perfect location for their engagement session. Let me start off by giving you a bit of backstory on this super-star couple…Shawn was on Wheel of Fortune. He WON. Then he proposed to Sara that night! The episode aired a couple of months later and we were lucky enough to see him answer that winning puzzle on tv! Right off the bat, we knew we were going to have a great session – Sara and Shawn are playful, fun, and easy going. We managed to choose a perfect day for a West Chester Engagement session, because all the gorgeous Magnolia trees were blossoming and the streets of West Chester looked picturesque….literally! Sara and Shawn also introduced us to West Chester’s Everhart Park, which was so serene. We had such a blast and it made us super excited for their August wedding at the stunning Greystone Hall. Stay tuned for those gorgeous wedding photos later this summer!

Glen Foerd Wedding | Pam & Jay

Pam and Jay’s wedding at Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware was such a beautiful, serene day. This pair is so laid back and we were able to get some beautiful photos of them at the serene mansion. The April weather was sunny lovely and provided us with the perfect canvas for a nature-inspired wedding right by the Delaware River. We can’t forget to mention Jay and Pam’s adorable son, Jasper. When I first met with Pam, we were both quite pregnant so it was so fun to finally meet her little one! He looked so dapper in his little tuxedo. The day went off without a hitch, beginning with a private ceremony and ending with a big bash and lots of dancing to the likes of Def Leppard and Led Zeppelin! This wedding’s guests really knew how to rock it out! Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Glen Foerd’s Conroy Catering. It was such a gorgeous day and we loved being there capture all the memories.

Philadelphia Engagement Pictures | Sheryl & Brian

Sheryl and Brian are one adventurous couple – which they really proved when they planned their Philadelphia engagement pictures for the afternoon after a blizzard! As luck would have it, most of the snow had melted, but we hit the streets of Philadelphia to get some fantastic photos. Sheryl and Brian were so fun and so natural, which made photographing them a breeze! Sheryl put a lot of whimsical touches into the portraits – the night before when her save-the-date sign failed to arrive on time, she scrambled to make a d.i.y. save-the-date sign and some cute Valentine’s Day inspired heart decor! They were super cute and added a lot of her fun-loving personality into the photos. The session really has us looking forward to their October Loews Downtown Philadelphia wedding – we can’t wait to see all of their details come together!

Hotel DuPont and Brantwyn Estate Wedding

Jaime and Chad are the kind of couple who you work with one day and feel like you are great friends from the get-go. They are sweet, personable, and all-around good people to be around! Jaime and I joke that it is because anyone named Jaime is just the best ;) Their friends and family certainly feel the same way, as there was a lot of love for them on their big day. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to photograph two DuPont properties in one day; getting ready at the luxurious Hotel DuPont followed by a glamorous wedding at Brantwyn Estate. I started out the day with Jaime and her girls at Hotel Dupont while Lincoln went with Chad and the guys. Getting ready was a blast and Jaime simply glowed. She looked stunning throughout the entire process! When we got to Brantwyn Estate for the wedding, the picture-perfect day really came full circle. The mansion and grounds were beautiful – something out of a fairy tale! The ceremony was held in the lower garden and Jaime made her grand entrance from the mansion down to her groom. The ceremony was lovely and went off without a hitch. We were losing light quickly, but managed to get all the family pictures done and then we got creative for the bridal party shots! We had no sunlight to work with so we used our lighting equipment to capture some great group shots in the pitch black. Then the reception took place in a tent under the stars. It was gorgeous and all of Jaime’s little personal touches were very evident, from the delicate china selection to the handmade signs on the chairs of the sweetheart table, readings “Mr. Right” and “Mrs Always Right”! Their personalities were put into everything, including their Charities Table, once again showing what sweet, generous people they are. We had a great time photographing the evening and the dance floor was definitely the place to be all night long!  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell – you deserve all the happiness in the world!

Tendenza Wedding Reception with Waterworks Ceremony

Natalie and Numa are a perfect match for one another and their entire wedding day really showcased their fabulous personalities. Natalie’s attention to detail was visible in every part of her wedding, from the ceremony at Waterworks to the Tendenza wedding reception. We started the day at the Sofitel in Philadelphia where I started photographing the girls while Lincoln stuck with the guys. Natalie and the girls got their hair and makeup done upstairs while everyone gushed over Natalie’s divine details; from her shoes to her garter to the little champagne glass charms with each bridesmaids’ name on them – she did not miss a thing! From the Sofitel the bridal party went to Waterworks for the ceremony. It was a beautiful setup with the Philadelphia Art Museum visible in the background and beautiful columns segregating the ceremony space. The ceremony had live music and delicious lemonade for the guests to enjoy. It was a very fun ceremony and you could tell that Natalie and Numa’s personal connection to their officiant really made it all the more special for her to be marrying them. They triumphantly marched back down the aisle as man and wife and were greeted by their loving family and friends immediately! We hung out at Waterworks, taking some gorgeous shots of the bridal party before heading to the posh reception taking place at Tendenza. Upon arriving at Tendenza, the cocktail hour was just nearing an end. The reception space was a stunning combination of different textures, colors, and there were personalized table numbers that were actually special places to Natalie and Numa. It was a really cute way of once again making their details really personal! The centerpieces were gorgeous and lush and it was obvious that Tendenza was the perfect reception venue for such a city-loving couple! We had such a blast photographing their wedding day and they were just the sweetest couple. Congratulations to Natalie and Numa!
