Appleford Estate is an absolute gem of a wedding venue, complete with an arboretum and bird sanctuary. After passing by the long pine lined driveway and Chinese dogwood trees, you’ll find a dream venue perfect for large wedding ceremonies outdoors. The reception area atop a flagstone terrace directly overlooking the cocktail hour really takes the cake! Lauren & Michael had one of our favorite love stories ever. They were so kind to their family, friends and especially us as the wedding photographers! They made sure to make the most of every moment on their wedding day.

Appleford Estate is a magical setting for wedding photographers

Wedding ceremonies typically occur aside the weeping willow trees overlooking the wooded acres. The house consists of many beautiful rooms that echo the history of Appleford Estate. The groom’s lounge and bridal suite are quite spacious, so your bridal party can spread out all of their bags and enjoy catching up before the big day begins. Guests can enjoy cocktails outside in the rose garden or medallion garden, or as they explore the dining room, pine room, and more within the beautiful venue.The bride’s bedroom suite overlooks the manicured gardens surrounding the historic venue.

The Appleford experience is one of our favorites for wedding photography. The estate house is the perfect venue for weddings near Philadelphia’s main line. One of our favorite parts of Lauren & Michael’s wedding day was the beautiful boxwood maze enhanced by the golden hour sun! These beautiful gardens are just steps away from the reception area, so you won’t miss out on precious dancing time.
