We fell in love with Courtney and Brian the moment we met them. When a couple looks each other in the eyes and can’t stop smiling, you know there’s just something special. Of course, as wedding photographers, there’s nothing we love more than an authentically happy expression! For their dream wedding venue, they chose to contact the team at the Anthony Wayne House; one of the best decisions ever! There are only a few spots in the area with an incredible wedding ceremony location under a gorgeous pergola, with beautifully landscaped gardens and an incredibly sweet wedding coordinator to ensure stress free planning. The Anthony Wayne House team makes the entire process absolutely wonderful. We have seen many past weddings at this beautiful location, and it’s become a favorite wedding venue of ours!
The Anthony Wayne House is a wedding photographers dream
One of our absolute favorite venues in the Philadelphia area is the Anthony Wayne House. If historic Pennsylvania charm sounds like the perfect wedding day, then you’ll love this 300 year old estate built in 1974 for Revolutionary War general Anthony Wayne. The stone historic house is made even better with a gorgeous outdoor ballroom under a permanent tent, full of farm to table style dining overlooking the beautifully renovated carriage house. All the details give this beautiful venue such a delightfully romantic ambiance.
In the planning process, Courtney and Brian were such a pleasure to work alongside. The JAM Catering team is extremely helpful with the wedding day logistics, as the exclusive caterer to the property. On the wedding day, the day of coordinator always brings impeccable service. They understand exactly how to highlight the natural beauty of the historic carriage house and beautifully manicured landscaping. The stone historic house is the perfect backdrop for the wedding day. While it does not have guest rooms for overnight stays, there is plenty of space for a cocktail hour full of delicious food. There is a private bridal suite in the main Anthony Wayne House that is perfectly situated near the ceremony and reception areas of the breathtaking grounds.
Many couples will bring handpicked vendors to complement the Anthony Wayne House’s rustic elegance on their wedding day. Courtney & Brian hired the Magnolia Lounge tap truck to make their gorgeous sunny day even more perfect. The truck fit perfectly with the wedding theme, and all their guests had so many compliments for the delicious tasting drinks. All of the family members were over the moon with the live music, which kept the dance floor packed until the very end!
The Anthony Wayne House exceeded all expectations with amazing food on lovely unique farm tables and busy dancing at this perfect venue. We want to thank the Anthony Wayne House staff for inviting us back many times to be the wedding photographers at one of our favorite summer wedding venues.
