Sarah and Neal’s Brandywine Manor House wedding ceremony and reception was breathtaking. Located in the heart of beautiful Chester County, this rustic and elegant event venue has four outdoor ceremony sites, two indoor ceremony sites, and is only a short distance from the Philadelphia and Lancaster areas. Everywhere you look, there are spectacular views of the gently rolling meadows and majestic trees. In the Brandywine manor barn, both the bride and groom get their own perfect private and intimate space to get ready. One lesson we’ve learned from all of our years of wedding photography is that getting ready at the same location as the wedding ceremony and reception makes the wedding day so much smoother! The intimate space within the climate controlled manor barn overlooking the garden terrace feels like a dream. For wedding receptions, the Brandywine tent dance floor has white Japanese lanterns and incredible theatrical lighting on the entire ceiling, customized to the colors of your wedding day. The country gardens boast lighted gazebos that overlook the illuminated lake, with twinkle lights draped throughout. It’s such a stunning scene as the sunsets over the cornfield.
An unforgettable day at Brandywine Manor House, a circa 1740 wedding venue
The wedding ceremony was in the woods and simply stunning. The Oak Grove was adorned in elegant lush crimson blooms. Sarah and Neal’s wedding reception was in the tented reception space. We snuck out for some gorgeous sun-soaked portraits in the fields later in the evening. It was an incredibly magical day. Lincoln and I get extremely excited every time we photograph a Brandywine Manor House wedding. As wedding photographers, we’ve traveled all over the map, but our friends know that we live in farmland! Brandywine Manor House is only 10 minutes from our home in Elverson, PA. In fact, we’ve probably photographed more weddings at Brandywine Manor House than any other wedding venue near Lancaster or Philadelphia. The entire staff is an absolute dream to work alongside.
