It’s hard to describe such an elegant wedding venue. Cairnwood Estate is something out of wedding dreams. It is a French chateau full of lush gardens and expansive lawns. With a grand staircase from the gilded age in the great hall, and multiple rooms overlooking the flowering gardens, Cairnwood Estate offers something rarely found at other venues. The south terrace overlooking the expansive lawns provide the perfect location for cocktail hour or wedding receptions at this gorgeous venue. The bridal suite and guest rooms at the estate are straight out of a movie. There are endless indoor possibilities on the property, which honestly may take more than one venue tour to fully see! You can also take a stroll on the connected Bryn Athyn Cathedral grounds to get another view of the Cairnwood Estate.

Kelly and Kyle’s stunning Bryn Athyn Cathedral wedding ceremony and Cairnwood Estate wedding reception was nothing short of a dream. We stare at the photos all the time haha. The Cathedral’s Romanesque elements transported everyone to European vibes. Capturing Kelly and Kyle’s love was simply perfection, complete with gorgeous sunlight streaming in the background. Their elegant al fresco reception beneath the stars provided the perfect setting to officially begin their lives together.
We chose Cairnwood Estate for our own wedding!
Every Cairnwood Estate wedding we photograph holds a special place in our heart. Lincoln and I chose Cairnwood Estate for our own wedding ceremony and reception venue on a beautiful (albeit hot!) day way back on May 30th, 2011. When my husband and I found Cairnwood estate many years ago, we knew it was such a perfect venue for our own wedding! After attending one open house, we knew we wanted to work with the Cairnwood team. The entire process from planning to dance floor was perfect for our special day. Such an amazing night! We look at our photos from our wedding day all the time. After such a magical day, we spent our honeymoon at the most magical place on earth: Disney World!
Lincoln grew up just a few miles away from Cairnwood Estate, and his family would frequently roam the grounds on special occasions. Little did he know he would grow up to be a wedding photographer at Cairnwood! Nowadays, one of our favorite activities is to bring our three children back to Cairnwood Estate to roam the grounds and reminisce about when ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ got married. Our wedding coordinator, Shannon, is still one of the most impressive coordinators we’ve ever met. In fact, to this day Shannon helps brides and grooms smoothly orchestrate the wedding of their dreams! She is extremely communicative and does everything possible to ensure your Cairnwood wedding is the perfect day of your dreams.
The rental fees grant exclusive use of the mansion for your event date, which is not always the case with other venues (seeing two brides on a wedding day is confusing!).
