Courtney & Brian’s wedding day was literally perfect. Set in historic Bucks county, HollyHedge is the perfect venue for a dream wedding full of rustic charm. It was so sentimental to see a photo of Courtney’s grandparents tied to her wedding bouquet. It really put the meaning behind the wedding day into perspective. The estate comes alive with blooming flowers for much of the year so that you don’t need to worry about decorating every little corner of the grounds. Just make sure to place a standout floral arrangement in the center of the fountain!
The brick courtyard is one of the most memorable locations at HollyHedge estate. The entire area is a dream for wedding photographers! It is the perfect location for wedding ceremonies, with its ornate antique iron gates and a fountain that shows the Three Graces. Many florists will use the fountain as the centerpiece for their florals, which is a great way to incorporate the colors of your wedding day into the absolutely amazing grounds. This is the perfect focal point for wedding photos during the ceremony, and for bridal party portraits before or after. Inside the historic stone barn are massive windows that add the most beautiful natural light for photography.

We can’t emphasize enough how helpful it is to have guest rooms on-site at HollyHedge. The entire wedding party can stay the night before the wedding, and certainly the bridal party will be thankful to have a short walk to their room after the wedding reception. The honeymoon suite is especially cute, complete with a stone fireplace and very convenient access to the magical garden.
Spend some time in New Hope!
New Hope, PA, is only 10 minutes from HollyHedge and is a very fun town for your guests to explore before and after the wedding day. Lincoln and I often eat at Karla’s Restaurant or The Landing Restaurant before the wedding day. Across the bridge to New Jersey is Lambertville, where we love eating at Under the Moon Cafe before we start our wedding photography.

HollyHedge Estate is a wedding venue located in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The estate is spread across 21 acres and features a variety of facilities, including indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, a historic stone barn, and elegant guest rooms. The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers a variety of services, including in-house full service wedding planners, setup, cleanup. The venue also has an exclusive on-site catering team that can create unique and personalized menu options.
The estate has a rich history that dates back to the late 1700s. It was originally built by carpenter Watson Fell and has been owned by many different people over the years. In the 1960s, the estate became a school for performing arts. In 1994, the Luccaro family purchased the property and transformed it into a wedding venue. Today, the Luccaros continue to embrace the estate’s rich history by restoring original architectural details.
While our main focus is your wedding photography, we understand that you’re probably also focused on the cost of a HollyHedge Estate wedding! Here’s a quick summary of the most frequently asked questions brides and grooms have about HollyHedge Estate wedding cost:
They accept credit cards for the initial deposit on weddings, but all other payments must be made using cash or check. Final payments less than two weeks before the wedding date must be made using a certified check. HollyHedge Estate will schedule a final meeting with couples at least two weeks before their wedding date. They will also email couples a month before their ceremony date to schedule the final meeting and provide a list of questions to finalize before the appointment. The initial deposit for weddings at HollyHedge Estate is $5,000. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the wedding date. Any final payments less than two weeks before the wedding date must be made using a certified check. Cancellations made more than 12 months before the wedding date will receive a full refund minus the initial deposit. Cancellations made between 12 and 6 months before the wedding date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 6 months of the wedding date will not receive a refund.
The signature wedding package at HollyHedge Estate includes in-house full service event planners, day-of-coordinators, exclusive five-hour venue rental, catering for your cocktail hour and sit-down reception dinner, and a five-hour premium open bar. The package also includes a customized wedding cake, customized fresh floral centerpieces, a choice of colored linens, valet parking, event rentals, and full-service staff.

We have photographed weddings at HollyHedge Estate in many different seasons and all the unique buildings look so beautiful with the gorgeous landscaping. Your wedding photos will be entirely unique as the magical gardens live and breathe. Over the years, the biggest lesson we have learned is how to best use natural light in the right ways. For example, knowing how to pose the couple relative to the sun, and especially what time of day is best to photograph each location for outdoor weddings. One location will look incredibly different depending on when you choose to photograph it!
