Okay, this wedding is no joke. From the vintage baby blue Buick parked in front of the Riverside Ballroom, to the seemingly endless flowers that completely covered the wedding ceremony and reception spaces. Kaitlyn & Jonathan’s Lambertville Station wedding was a special day at one of our favorite wedding venues in NJ.

What we love most about Lambertville Station Inn weddings is all the different (and very large) event spaces. As wedding photographers, we’ve seen many venues that simply aren’t large enough to comfortably fit all the guests. Its location makes it the perfect venue for families that have guests traveling from both Philadelphia and New York. Even better, the on-site hotel full of amenities makes the wedding day even easier for your out-of-town guests. This is especially useful if there is bad weather, because less guests will be late since they’ll already be checked into their hotel rooms. Certainly, guests will dance at the wedding reception much later if they can safely stumble back to their overnight accommodations! We usually drive to the wedding very early in the morning so we can walk around Lambertville and New Hope, which both have such beautiful historic architecture and a vibrant arts scene, full of a variety of restaurants and shops. It’s so nice to take a carriage ride through the historic towns. The rolling hills and canals are reminiscent of Venice and are great for a walk, bike or even canoe! There is so much to do in the area that it really turns into a weekend getaway for all of your guests.
It’s kinda fun to pick a venue that you can revisit on your anniversaries. Lincoln and I often go back to where we got married (Cairnwood Estate) to relive the day in our minds. So many fun little conversations and emotions pop into your head! Every year, you could come back to the Lambertville Station Inn for a romantic dinner and overnight stay, as you walk around New Hope and Lambertville as a married couple!
One of the inn’s most popular features for getting ready on the big day is the brand new Riverview bridal suite, which has floor-to-ceiling windows that let in the most beautiful natural light. Ceremonies take place in a newly-renovated open-air room that is right next to the cocktail room lounge, making it very convenient for guests to transition there after the ceremony. The reception is most often held in the Riverside Ballroom, which has large windows with views of the Delaware River. Kaitlyn & Jonathan’s wedding had nearly 200 guests, and the spectacular space was more than large enough to fit everyone on and around the dance floor. The ballroom has three walls of glass that provide stunning views of the river, and it is decorated with glittering chandeliers and antique paintings. After the wedding, couples can stay in the overnight honeymoon suite, which is located in the inn. The suite has a king-size bed, a fireplace, and a private balcony with views of the Delaware River. It’s the perfect location to celebrate the most momentous occasion of your life!
The Lambertville Station restaurant knows how to impress!
The Lambertville Station Inn is a charming wedding venue located in the quaint town of Lambertville, New Jersey. The venue is a restored 19th century train station that has been beautifully converted into a wedding and event space. The inn is on a waterfront property that is walking distance from the New Hope – Lambertville Bridge and the banks of the Delaware River. This gives wedding photographers an endless variety of gorgeous backdrops for their photos, from the Inn to the water to the bridge and the charming shops. It’s seriously a very fun area.

The restaurant has a capacity of 100 guests, and it is a great choice for couples who are looking for a more relaxed and intimate setting. The restaurant has original oak and brass accents with very unique details, and the food is of course delicious. It’s a helpful way to preview the quality of the catering team. They are also very talented at baking a custom wedding cake based on your colors.
