The Stone Mill Inn wedding ceremony and reception venue is a rare find between Lancaster and York PA. The Stone Mill Inn was originally built back in 1736, with a larger mansion added in 1820. Fast forward to 1997 when the space turned into a wedding venue! The rich history is incredibly apparent as you look around at all the little details. The grounds itself offers several different wedding ceremony locations. In fact, there are currently 6 different choices across the 12 acres.
Importantly, the venue is family run. The owner, Ken, will sit down with you and walk through each step of the process. Ken was extremely helpful to us from a photography perspective. Having gotten to know Bethany and Toby during their engagement session, we knew that their wedding day would be full of good people. As a result, the second we walked into the getting ready space, we were welcomed with open arms. We were especially excited to see the new wedding ceremony location in the woods. The owner, Ken, had been tirelessly carving a new path and opening in the property’s woods. A beautiful trail led guests back to a shaded space with the most amazing chandeliers and string lights hanging magically from the trees. Certainly, Ken is a master of his craft and has truly created something special with his own hands!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the perfect indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and had the chance to explore the historic grounds. The wedding reception in the Stone Mill Inn brought the coolest vibe to the dancing and toasts. Overall, we highly recommend this wedding venue near Lancaster PA!
