The perfect wedding venue?
Ahhh, where do we begin? The outdoor space at a Terrain wedding is the dream of every wedding photographer. Lush greenery is draped everywhere the eye can see, from the garden shed to the indoor space. Kristine & Christopher’s wedding celebration was in early October, so the blooming nursery was in full effect! The entire event space and bridal suite is full of Instagram worthy photo. Amazing!!
Outdoor ceremony space
The Ceremony Garden has the most beautiful wisteria trees and reclaimed mantels, with a hand crafted wirework pavilion at the end of the wedding ceremony’s center aisle. The cocktail hour is set in the gorgeous backdrop between the Ceremony Garden and the Reception Room. The Reception Room has high ceilings accented by floating installations, countless string lights, and a glass ceiling that pours in stunning natural light. This makes it a versatile space that can be used for both wedding receptions and ceremonies, even if there is rain, wind, or cold. The main room can accommodate up to 140 guests with a very large dance floor in the center. One really fun idea that Kristine & Christopher had during the wedding reception was a “group photo speed run,” which involved seeing how quickly they could race from table to table and get a picture with every guest. Talk about efficient wedding photography! They could then enjoy the rest of the night, without feeling the pressure of walking to each table.
Terrain is famous for providing white glove service throughout the whole planning process (it’s quite a stress free wedding venue!). Also, the responsiveness to the client’s personal style helps customize the dreamy wedding day. Other venues we’ve seen rarely receive so many compliments from guests. The talented culinary team considers every last detail in the wedding food, leaving us incredibly impressed (and full!) every time.
Terrain at Devon Yard
Terrain Gardens is a unique event venue that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue features reclaimed barn wood floors, overhead festival lights, and skylights, creating a one-of-a-kind aesthetic that is the first of its kind on the Main Line. The lush, horticultural setting with ever-changing greenery provides a lavish backdrop for special occasions year-round. Terrain Gardens can accommodate up to 140 guests and is situated in the lifestyle complex, Devon Yard, adjacent to the bespoke dining and retail experiences from Amis Trattoria, Pizzeria Vetri, Terrain Cafe, Anthropologie, BHLDN, and Terrain. The venue is located at 138 W Lancaster Ave, Devon, PA 19333, 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia.

Terrain DelVal
Terrain Gardens at DelVal is the newest Terrain wedding events venue. The new wedding venue is located on the campus of Delaware Valley University, and it offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The indoor and outdoor spaces at Terrain Gardens at DelVal are seamlessly connected, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The venue is adorned with natural wood floors, vintage-style chandeliers, and skylights, which give it a unique aesthetic. In addition to its event spaces, Terrain Gardens at DelVal also boasts a retail store and cafe. The venue is located at 2100 Lower State Rd, which is about an hour outside of Philadelphia.
Terrain Glen Mills
Terrain at Styers is a wedding venue in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. It is a restored antique greenhouse, lodge, and terrace that is available for weddings or rehearsal dinners. The venue has a rustic atmosphere with tea lights and pillar candles, and it can accommodate up to 200 guests. The menu features local, organic meals, and the culinary team can create a truly unique experience for you and your guests.
The wedding and event venue is located on the site of the historic J. Franklin Styer’s Nursery in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. The venue features over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, making it a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds.
Terrain Glen Mills is a BYO facility that invites guests to bring their favorite beer, wine, and liquors for their celebration. The venue also features a Terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe, which are open to the public and an incredibly fun place to shop! The venue is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia.
In the Field, on-site catering by Terrain
Terrain Events also offers a catering service called In the Field, which allows clients to bring the Terrain experience to their own events, weddings, and life’s special moments. In the Field offers a variety of menu options, all of which are inspired by the seasonal harvest and use only the freshest local products. The service also includes on-site cooking and open-fire cooking options. In the Field is available for events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings. In the Field offers a variety of menu options, including appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, and beverages. In the Field can also provide custom menus to fit the specific needs of each event. The catering service is available year-round.
The base price for catering is $110 per person, which includes passed hors d’oeuvres, a salad, bread pots, a main course of three entrée selections, and three dessert items. The beverage package is $45 per person and includes a 5-hour open bar with two white wines, two red wines, sparkling wine, craft beer, and elevated spirits. Soft drinks, bar garnishes, standard mixers, and ice are included in the beverage package for an additional $10 per person. La Colombe coffee and tea are available for an additional $5 per person.
Complimentary menu tastings are available throughout the year. It’s also worth noting that taxes and a 21% service fee are not included in the prices listed.
