Often times couples ask for recommendations for unique engagement session locations in Central New Jersey. It’s hard to beat the variety of a Grounds for Sculpture Engagement session. The location spans an amazing 42 acres, with 270 contemporary sculptures. The grounds are meticulously maintained with unique landscaping very similar to Longwood Gardens. So really you get the best of both worlds.
As the seasons change, the 42 acres of landscaping evolve beautifully. Every time we visit the Grounds for Sculpture it is truly a completely different experience! When Paisley and Joe asked us to photograph their engagement session and wedding at the Grounds for Sculpture, we were so excited to showcase the grounds in different ways. Lincoln and I have visited the Grounds for Sculpture with our family, but this was our first opportunity to bring a beautiful bride and groom along with us! Needless to say, we were incredibly excited. When we first met Paisley and Joe their bursting energy and vibrant personalities were very evident. Natural photography is much easier when couples are comfortable being themselves and just enjoying the location together.
Another reason we recommend a Grounds for Sculpture engagement is that it looks great at all times of year. We photographed this engagement session in the middle of winter, and easily found a wide variety of beautiful locations for the engagement session. This is not always the case in winter!
The Grounds for Sculpture is a popular location for New Jersey residents to visit. Regardless, the vast space makes it easy to avoid the other visitors. This was especially true on the wedding day. The Grounds for Sculpture staff was very helpful ensuring the wedding was kept private. If you like this engagement session at the Grounds for Sculpture, then definitely check out Paisley and Joe’s Grounds for Sculpture wedding later that year!
